Theta Xi

When I came to Montclair State in 1994, I had no inclination of joining a fraternity. However, when a friend pestered me into attending a small gathering with the brothers of Theta Xi in March of '95, my life changed forever.

I chose to join Theta Xi National Fraternity for a number of reasons.

  1. I wanted to be a part of something I believed in. Theta Xi is more than just a bunch of drunk "frat" guys; it's a way of life.

  2. I wanted to broaden my mind. In Theta Xi, I've met every variety of individual. The people I've met have influenced my life and thoughts in ways I could never fully express in words.

  3. I wanted to have a good time. The times I've had in Theta Xi have been among the best of my life.

The Gamma Mu Chapter of Theta Xi has been my home, my support, and my family for the past 3 years. I'm proud to say I, along with Thomas E. Tacinelli and Thomas J. Hynes, celebrated my three year anniversary as a brother on April 20th 1998. I thank the brothers nationwide for all they've given me. I will always cherish those two Greek Letters: QX
